Machining for Buyout Doors
Q: I order out my Doors but I want to be able to bore for the Hinges and Pulls once they arrive. Is this possible?
A: Yes, Solid has a setting which will allow you to output code for Hinge and Pull boring of Buyout Doors.
1) At the Splash Screen, go to the Solid Button \ Preferences \ Geometry. Select the Output Buyout Doors for CNC option.
2) Within one of your Door Material Schedules, make sure the Buy Out option is selected.
3) Now when you output this job, the code will be created which will allow you to bore the buyout doors once they arrive in your shop.
