Moving Layers File

Q:  I moved my database files to a new computer, but my Layers do not show.  How do I move them?

A:  Layers are held in a file named Default.dat.  Here is how to find it.

1)  Go to your hard drive and look in the Planit \ Solid x.x (whatever version you are using) folder.

2)  Find the file named Default.dat.

3)  Copy this file to the same folder location on the new computer.

4)  Open Solid and you should now see the Layers settings you are used to.

Note:  If you are using the Network version of Solid, then the Default.dat file will have to be copied to the server and each workstation on that network.
