Some of our clients have experienced issues installing the Solid Essential trial on their computers. Our experts have found that these tips will often resolve the problems.
Do you have Windows Home Edition?
Solid will generally install on Windows “Home” edition; however, we do not officially support it. Try performing the trial installation on a computer that has Windows Pro.
Do you have a firewall?
If yes, please turn off for the duration of the installation.
Do you have an anti-virus?
If yes, please turn off during the installation.
Do you have another program on the computer, such as QuickBooks?
If yes, you may need to attempt the installation on another computer to avoid SQL issues.
